SFR, the French mobile telephone operator owned by French entertainment-to-telecom conglomerate Vivendi SA, said Friday it will start to offer 4G mobile broadband services starting early 2013.

The company is currently setting up the 4G network, which allows high-speed internet access, in the cities of Lyon and Montpellier, SFR said in a statement on its website.
